BS1 Experience Ver. Earbud

Pros: These are nice earbuds with well balanced sound. A bit lacking in terms of bass but excellent mids and crystal clear highs. They are sturdily built: I have been using them for about 6 months almost everyday and was really pleased with their durability as compared to many more expensive models/brands that I have used and that start to fall apart after a few weeks of use.

Cons: One significant issue with these earbuds is that the nondetachable cables tend to get less and less flexible over time. It does get increasingly difficult to keep them straight when in use.

I just got mine today and it's amazing. I'm quite impressed with the overall performance and with a price like this is definitely worth it. Though it would be nice to give instruction on how to put on the foam earbuds and showing which side is left or right, I had hard time changing the foam.

The mids is very energetic with an emphasis on the upper mids. With this emphasis, female vocals sound extremely sweet but this does not mean male vocals sound bad either. Lower mids are not compromised either. There is a good level of transparency and cleanliness in the mids and it is very hard to find this level in earbuds at this price point. It is comparable to my TY Hi-Z 650 in all honesty with the 650 having a slight edge as it is capable of oozing out more details than the BS1. With such a natural midrange that will do justice for vocals, I really think this is one of my favourite earbuds already all for the right reasons - the mighty sub bass and the crystal clear mids.
