A worthy successor to the original, the TSMR-3 Pro is a more refined version with fuller bass, smoother highs and improved stage.

Just received my pair of TSMR-3 Pro. Here is my review as a casual listener.

First and foremost, the build quality is amazing. The IEM came along with everything you'd need (eartips, cleaning brush, braided cable, a tool to push the switches for mode changing). The IEM was also build perfectly with no visible bubbles and a heavy feeling makes it feel durable.

Secondly, the sound quality was very easy to get used to, coming from my headphones (SHP 9500). Smooth vocals with just enough highs and lows to compliment. I left it at 020 as I was accustomed to it. It'll be fine to listen to any songs with these. A good point to point out would be the soundstage as it was easy to distinguish different instruments from the mix. Furthermore, the bass was well present while being able to extend quite deep.

Lastly, I would love to commend Penon Audio for being reliable and credible when it comes to purchases such as this. I had no regrets buying this as my first IEM!

Tansio Mirai TSMR-3 Pro Review

"The TSMR-3 Pro is a clear sounding iem that provides a tight bass performance, engaging midrange and extended yet controlled treble in its balanced mode. In addition, its versatility is showcased with 3 switches that can allow the user to experience a total of 7 sound signatures. The Tansio Mirai TSMR-3 Pro builds on the foundation of TSMR-3 with an improved sonic performance and it is another winner from Tansio Mirai."

Fit and finish is great. The nozzles are a bit too big for my ears and makes keeping them in my ear difficult; otherwise they’re really pretty.

Sound is great if a bit disappointing on the low end. It doesn't have the attack or impact of a dynamic driver based IEM. the lack of impact will make otherwise great EDM tracks sound lackluster on these.

The mids are definitely one of the best parts of the IEM. I wan't whatever driver is responsible for the mids to be in my next pair of IEM's they're that good.

The highs are not harsh and they don't stand out or overshine anything else on offer.

Overall I'd rate these 4.5/5 They're almost perfect. Had the low end driver been a different one with a bit more impact, and the nozzles been slightly smaller for my tiny ears, I'd call them perfect. Maybe buy the CIEM if you can.

The fit and finish is amongst the best I've seen in this price range. The seam isn't visible and there aren't any bubbles in the body.

I must say that from the first listen, I was very comfortable with the sound signature.
In the default 020 mode, everything sounds well balanced and natural. I've taken them for spin across various genres and everything sounds exactly like how I expect it to. There are no particular intrusive frequency boosts which makes for an enjoyable and fatigue free listening experience.
It has 3 dip switches which lets you alter the sound signature a bit and it works well.

Soundstage, imaging and separation are all good. Soundstage makes you feel a ‘part of the band’ rather than an ‘audience member in the crowd'.

In modern music's busy mixes with guitars, synths, bass, drums and percussion, you’ll be able to hear everything clearly and positioned in the image accurately.
