I can only confirm the glowing comments. These intras have an excellent balance, deep and detailed bass, beautifully rendered voices, and treble sufficiently soft for a Relaxed listening without sacrificing in extension. There is no sibilance. The scene has a fairly good width but above all a good depth. The imagery is good with a good separation of the instruments. The finish of the intras is good too, there is really nothing to say negative. Even the cable is good by the way. They are easy to drive too. Very satisfied with these intras and I have much more expensive intras with which I am very satisfied because I choose my devices with care. Well done Penon

These sound incredible! the detail and resolution is amazing. you can really pick the location and depth of any element in the music. this is a new way of experiencing music for me.

I am in love. In love with the Penon Fan 2. It took some time for the twin 6mm crystal plated bio drivers to open up. Eventually put on a pure copper cable. Wow!. Where did that sub-bass come from? Where did the mid-bass impact come from? Where do those beautiful slightly forward-mids come from? Non-fatiguing treble. Whoever tuned these is from the elven sound-gods.....such a classy tuning. No rough edges at all.
