Penon Audio 10th AE IEM

The 10TH are to my ears a W sound signature set of monitors with a clear emphasis on the lows / highs and midrange as well.
It is an absolute TOTL, able to faithfully reproduce any kind of recording or music genre effortlessly ,and the main point is that the 10th has nothing to envy from much higher priced monitors coming from well established companies , or monitors using more sophisticated implementations.
Engagement is the name of the game here, and those 10ths definitely deliver that. it's one of the most engaging and addictive as well monitors I have ever listened to. If musicality and absolute balance goes hand by hand in your prefferences then you re getting one hell of a deal here.

Bought this after having a great experience with Fan 2 and Serial. SOUND: Deep impactful bass that doesn't bleed into the mids, slightly recessed mids, detailed highs with plenty of detail but not fatiguing in the least, excellent soundstage. Great for classic rock, electronic, and metal (even the more technical metal). FIT: Absolutely no complaints on the fit.
AESTHETICS: They look good, but I prefer the look of Fan 2 and Serial and would've preferred PENON on one faceplate and 10th on the other. ACCESSORIES: Nice cable, good tips, and a large but highly functional case. At this price point, I'd expect a modular cable, though. OVERALL: These are an amazing pair of IEM that compete very nicely with the much more expensive TOTL IEM I've heard from 64, Campfire, Empire Ears, UM, etc. Personally I don't see any reason to spend kilobucks when you buy 10th Anniversary for much less.

Have been trying out the Penon 10th anniversary headphones for a couple of weeks.
My most favourite setup is at home:
Roon core running on a QNAP NAS -> roopiee on raspberry pi4 -> Topping E30 II DAC + Topping L30 II Amp
This system is very neutral and musical.
My daily setup at work:
Galaxy S23+ poweramp + FIIO KA1 usb DAC (with a cable with a microphone for calling )
Sound and spec:
Low Impedance, but easy to drive with anything due to the high sensitivity
Great bass and mid bass, especially compared to my previous IEMs BGVP DM8
Good crossover and balance between drivers

Will be using these as my main daily IEMs

Just go for it......this one deserves twice its price for sure.....END GAME for me......

Hopefully we listen to music for enjoyment and pleasure. Music can heal our spirit, soothe, excite, but is medicine for us.
So what does the 10th bring onto the music menu? First that I notice is the beautiful presentation of highs through the EST's. Very liquid sounding and smooth, enough detail. No roughness or sibilance, the liquid highs/treble are so immediately and enjoyably noticeable. The rich mids, are very typical of Penon IEM's. Female vocals are so smooth yet realistic, they arise perfectly and musically, positioned exactly where both vocals and also guitars should be. Bass takes while to burn-in. The 10th bass is very natural. Never too much or too little it hits the sweet spot. Beautifully realistic and enjoyable sound.....the 10th makes music better, and I haven't heard a genre this 10th cannot make sound good. Somehow Penon have tuned a very musical, rich sounding IEM which synergises with my HiBy R6 III. My desert island IEM.
