Rose Margaret

I have had my Rose Margaret years ago (2015?).
The few tech data available account for the little impression they gave me back then with my humble low power ed setup. Margarets does not declare impedance in spite of a good sensitivity, but sure they are over 32ohms, in line with multi DD fellows like UM 3DT and Oriolus Isabellae. When you feed Margarets with some worth power they show some great worth sound. Bassy jet balanced, velvet highs, sweet mids (both male and female vocal are very good). To me image and (verticale) soundstage stand out. The fit is great, one of the IEMS you could sleep with (I do not). A weak spot? The build quality... so and so. Some nasty drivers flex is clear when you push them in the ear canal.
A wonderful light double DD iem I will never regret to have at hand.

I bought these from Penon's eBay store and they are easily the best sounding iems I own... I have had a few custom quad hybrid driver models from other manufacturers but the highs are usually a bit sharp for my liking and these have very smooth highs. These sound a little bass heavy but the in the sub range with amazing extension. Upper bass is in line with the lower mids and sound well articulated together. Upper mids see a bit of a a bump, bringing out vocals and some of the drums. Both male and female vocals sound exeptionaly represented without sybalance. Highs have enough detail and roll off nicely.
