TFZ My Love III

The TFZ My Love III is an iteration of the brand’s own sound, approaching a more popular profile, like the Harman curve, where there is a lot of good competition. But TFZ wins where it knows best, in its lower zone. Although this time, TFZ has tried, successfully, to provide the mids with a special emotion, a relaxed sound, full and analogical, which differentiates it from its competitors and even from its brothers. Few brands are able to offer so many models in the same price range, endowing their models with different characteristics, making them totally special individually. That’s why TFZ is so big. And the My Love III are a clear example of this.

Beautiful design. Deep and powerful low frequencies. Fairly linear midrange with excellent voice reproduction. High frequencies are detailed in the lower range and smoothed in the upper range.

Unusual tuning. Very different to the TFZ No.3. The My Love III has good bass and reasonable highs. But for this IEM that's not the point. This is a retro sounding IEM that brings back memories of 1980's HiFi. This IEM is very midrange orientated. Lush vocals from a dark background. There is definitely bass there but vocals in their richness dominate the tuning. Very analogue sounding...makes everything sound analogue and tubey. What makes this IEM stand out is the clarity. Very HiFi sounding. Will suit oldtimers who prefer lushness over detail. Personally I use these all the time. Most people will prefer the TFZ No.3 which is tuned amazingly, but if you like folk, jazz, soul vocals or guitar solos then these will keep you listening and listnening. Vocal heaven.
